Dave is a well-known icon and pioneer in hospitality technology. A member of the coveted Hospitality Financial and Technology Professional Association's "Hall of Fame," Dave is credited with pioneering such industry breakthroughs as single image inventory, yield management, open systems deployment and the "one button" night audit. His continuing relationships with CIOs and CEOs have helped LeisureLink open doors and expedite its efforts in inventory and technology acquisition. Named "Director of the Year" by the Forum for Corporate Directors, Dave is also well known for his insight and expertise in adding value to corporate boards on which he serves. Dave is the co-founding angel investor at LeisureLink.
Ted Alexander is a Founding Associate of Mission Ventures and a Managing Partner of Mission Ventures III, a fund focused on early-stage technology companies in rapidly emerging markets. Prior to joining Mission Ventures, Ted worked closely with the founders of Sandpiper Networks in Business Development and Market Analysis prior to the company’s acquisition by Digital Island. Previously, he assisted GE Information Services with the launch of an electronic data interchange service for the Internet.
A successful and experienced early-stage venture investor across a variety of enterprise and consumer-facing technology companies, Jim has established himself as a leading investor and company builder in Southern California. Since joining Clearstone early in its formation, Jim has applied his strong management skills, communication skills, market knowledge and industry contacts to help the companies in which Clearstone invests deliver a strong record of venture performance. Jim's work is focused on information technology investments, with particular interest in application software, information management and security and Internet-enabled businesses. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, Jim was recognized as one of the top 100 Venture Capitalists in the United States by Forbes Magazine’s annual Midas List.
Tom joined LeisureLink in March 2012,
and brings a history of managing complex operations for diverse,
early-stage, high-growth businesses. Prior to LeisureLink, Tom headed
global operations for American Discovery, one of the world’s leading
providers of legal outsourcing services. Before American Discovery, Tom
was co-founder and COO of Done Right!, a venture capital-backed
marketing services firm sold to Tree.com in July, 2009. Prior to Done
Right!, he was head of corporate development for Overture Services,
leading the company's efforts in structuring and negotiating numerous
acquisitions and strategic partnerships, culminating in the company's
sale to Yahoo! in 2003. Prior to Overture, Tom was an investment banker
in Mexico City, Mexico and Bogota, Colombia for N.M. Rothschild &
Sons, specializing in M&A and government privatizations. Before
investment banking, he practiced law on Wall Street and in Los Angeles
for prominent international law firms, specializing in corporate
transactions. Tom earned a B.A. from the University of Southern
California, a J.D. from the University of California, Davis and an
M.B.A. from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los
Angeles
