Overview

Job qualifications
  • Interacts with customers (hotel guests), clients (hotel property managers), and OTA’s (online travel agencies) via phone and email.
  • Provides professional, friendly, and empathetic service to customers and clients.
  • Responds appropriately to customer questions, requests, and complaints.
  • Conducts investigations, solves problems, and follows-up in a timely manner.
  • Negotiates and makes financial decisions on refunds and adjustments in the best interest of the company, the clients, and the customers.
  • Collaborates with related departments on complex customer problems.
  • Provides insight and visibility to the management team regarding high-priority, large-scale, or systemic trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:
  • Travel industry experience is preferred.
  • 2 years previous customer service or technical support experience in an industry or call center environment.
  • Exceptional and recognizable verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Highly effective and established time management and organizational dexterity.
  • Advanced proficiency levels in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word and Excel are required.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to handle fluctuating case volumes in a consistent manner without a decline in performance or advocacy.
  • Flexible work schedule, which includes an early morning shift, and evening shift, and/or weekends, and some holidays.

Overview
LeisureLink is a cutting edge provider of revenue management, distribution, booking and data solutions to professionally managed vacation homes, condos and specialty lodging, serving over 1,500 properties throughout North America and Europe. The Inside Sales Representative is an opportunity to join a well-capitalized and highly promising venture experiencing rapid growth.

In November 2012, Hospitality technology and online revenue management leader, LeisureLink, was ranked number 172 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Meet or Exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas through cold calling, sales presentations and other lead generation tactics
  • Strategize and negotiate contracts that offer added value and significant return on investment
  • Develop and manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
  • Collaborate with the account management team to transition accounts for servicing

 Job qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in travel, timeshare, or vacation rental industry a plus
  • Minimum of two years successful B2B sales experience
  • Superior knowledge of sales techniques including cold-calling, networking and lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close deals
  • Proficient in database management such as Salesforce, Siebel, etc.
  • Highly computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail technology
  • Excellent communication skills, strong consultative selling skills, exceptional customer service skills as well as decisive and successful problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with client
